572. Why is Good Friday, called “Good?”

Many people throughout the world know the term “Good Friday” but may be confused when they learn that Jesus Christ was crucified on that day over 2000 years ago. What can be “good” about sinful humans willingly putting to death the Creator and Redeemer of the universe?

Instead of writing a new article on the subject, I decided to collate the links to several articles I had written over the years into one article. This is article number 541 on this blog site www.jimholbeck.blog or click on https://jimholbeck.blog/2024/03/27/541-some-articles-on-the-meaning-of-good-friday/

I trust you might read some of those articles and perhaps share the link with family or friends who would benefit in knowing why Good Friday is so exceptionally “good!”
