There’s no doubt that when a beloved, precious one departs this life through death, that one is left with a deep hollowness in one’s being. Yet every memory provides an impetus to live in such a way that she would be proud of whom I am without her presence in my life. Tomorrow would have been her 83rd birthday and I usually write something about her life and our marriage on her birthdays to remind me how precious she was to me and to hundreds of other people as well.
